Employing a soft and friendly color palette and a mix of high contrast display type and a fun and casual grotesk, the design choices for Champions for Health demonstrate the compassionate nature of the nonprofit itself.
The old Champions for Health site lacked a welcoming color palette, utilized an outdated layout with tired type choices, and overall did not present the professionalism necessary for such an important local non-profit.
The new design for Champions of Health required a straightforward, user-friendly approach with an engaging design to encourage both those who need care to seek it, and those who can provide it to volunteer it. Additional attention was given to accessibility with high contrast, simple messaging and adjustable type sizing.
